After so much of research I found these amazing ways.
Here you go-While posting a URL, there are certain moments when the applied image doesn’t show. The featured image is called post thumbnails and can be seen in Wordpress. Nowadays every application or feature comes with thumbnail post. It’s always advisable to check before posting a thumbnail whether it’s supported or not by going into the post editor.
Here, let’s inculcate us with the solution and prerequisites to have a successful post. These steps to solution are generic and explained in Lehman syllables to get a better hand on experience, as follows: -
Step 1- While the user is on the Wordpress, create a post or link and look for the meta box. The meta box is located on the right side of the window.
Step 2- Now, in the dialogue box there will an option for Featured Image, and there will be a sub-option as Set Featured Image. Click on set featured image and this action will open a Wordpress Media Uploader. This option will allow the user to upload the image from the computer or from the image library.
Step 3- Once the image is selected, simply tap on the set featured image option. The image will be displayed in the meta box.
There is a probability that the image chosen might look different as it totally depends on your themes handling the images. Even if the theme is not supporting the image, but if the user possesses beginners CSS knowledge can perform the task very easily. For the user who are oblivious of this information, can inculcate some knowledge by following the steps, as follows: -
Step 1- If the user finds out that the featured image is not sufficed enough, then the file needs to be edited. To do so, the user need to add this set of the word in the theme function.php.file.
add_theme_support( ‘post-thumbnails’)This code will be enabling the featured image support for posts and links.
Step 2- Next, is the process to set a featured image in Wordpress. To do so, the user needs to edit the template file and put this line of code in the place where the image should be displayed.
<?phpthe_post_thumbnail(); ?>
The above-explained steps will resolve the problem of not displaying the image in the posted link. The uploading of images in a website can be a puzzling issue for a beginner. The above-explained procedure will inculcate the user on, how to post a thumbnail or featured image in Wordpress.
There are some other ways which I found with the help of some famous bloggers like Evan Derek, Abhishek Tavasalkar , Javid Hussain
According to Evan Derek- Famous blogger working on his popular site Vebblabbs
When someone INSTANTLY tries to post a link on Facebook, just after it's been published, the featured image can't be grabbed by Facebook and only the text appears. In that scenario, I first paste the link on either the "homepage" or from the "profile timeline", first time only text appears, So I don't post it ( You have to PASTE the link once, but not post it ). the second time I change the page, means if I posted earlier from "home" the second time I'll go to "profile" and paste the same link or vice-versa, and it works.
According to Abhishek Tavasalkar-
Once you publish an article. Visit https://developers.facebook.com/tools/debug/ and paste your article URL. Click on Debug. Later again click on 'Fetch New Scrape Information', your work is done. Now start sharing the article on Facebook and the featured image will be shown. If you use Yoast plugin, then it has the option to use a picture to display as Featured Image on Facebook under the Social tab within the article WP page you're about to publish.
According to Javid Hussain-
Delete from the media library and upload again, U can now see your image displaying along with the post link.
Enjoy friend, now your problem is solved. Do let me know if any method worked for you in the comment section.
